Becoming a Believer

I was just reading what Dr. Jerome Stowell wrote about the time he became a believer. He was an atheist working in a large pathological lab with 5 other scientists when they experienced the positive power of God and the negative power of evil. They found a channel of wave lengths in the brains of people who were near death. The channel of wave lengths has a unit of measure where the different wave lengths of each individual's brain are further separated in identity more clearly than are the finger prints of each individual's hand. God can keep a record of our thoughts in heaven as the FBI keeps a record of our fingerprints in Washington DC. The first lady they chose for this experiment was on the verge of death in a hospital. She was informed of the research. She had cancer of the brain that effected her body only. The scientist put a small microphone in the room so they could hear if anything was said during time of death. The scientists in the adjoining room used instruments to record what transpired. One device had a needle pointing to "0" in the center of the scale. To the right the scale was calibrated to 500 points negative. They previously had recorded on this identical instrument the power used by a fifty kilowatt broadcasting station in sending a message around the world. The needle then registered 9 points of the positive side.

As the last moments of this woman's life arrived, she began to pray and praise the Lord. She asked the Lord to be merciful unto those who had despitefully used her, then she reaffirmed her faith in God, telling Him she knew He was the only power, and the only living power. He always had been and always would be. She told Him how much she loved Him. The scientists had tears streaming down their faces. Then they looked at the needle which was registering positive 500 and desperately trying to go higher.

Then they performed a test on a man whose brain had atrophied. This case was quite different from the first one. He cursed the name of God and the needle clicked back and forth negative 500. By actual experimentation they registered what happened when one takes the name of God in vain. They found that good things were positive and beneficial for us and the negatives are covered in the Ten Commandments - the thou shall not's are bad for us.

But always remember that God forgives us when we ask Him.
