"The Lord is my Shepard. I shall not want" "This is the day the Lord has made and we shall rejoice and be glad in it". These are only two powerful verses in the Bible I like to reflect on. It is no accident God calls us sheep in Psalm 23. Sheep are very much like humans. Our mob instincts, timidity, fears, our stubbornness, stupidity, our perverse habits are all parallel of profound importance. Despite these characteristics, Christ chooses us, buys us and calls us by name. He cares for us. I love the Lord. He has always been there for me when I have needed Him. He calls me His precious gift. It is a good thing to find out what your name means.

Another quote of mine in my book,"I love you. I embrace you. You are mine and I am yours and you belong to me." ... the blessing of belovedness.

David, the author of Psalms was much loved by God. He felt frustration and remorse that he had fallen into temptation. But God forgave him and helped him see how he was loved and forgiven by God to carry out God's plan for his life. This is all God asks of us. Remember to ask for forgiveness first. Then give Him thanks. Finally, ask what you need.
